Flat purse made of multi-coloured glass beads closely netted on a ground of buff and orange silk. Oval-ended and with an ornate gilt metal clasp. Originally lined with cream-coloured taffeta and has been relined. With a floral design arranged on three bands which run round the bag and they are alternately grounded in red, grey and red beads. The bottom edge is decorated with the remains of a fringe of blue beads. There is a single handle formed of a continuous loop of metal chain.
