Chalice veil of woven silk brocaded with silver and gold filé and frisé thread on a ground covered with thin silver strip. The different binding of this silver strip by a cream silk warp and different weaves beneath it create a background of small flowers and leaves.

It is lined with green silk and edged with yellow silk and silver-gilt braid.
