Dress of cream, machine made lace in formal floral design, graduated to become more dense towards the hem. The epaulets and cuffs of the gathered, elbow length sleeves and the front panel of the slightly pouched bodice are re-embroidered with pastes, black spangles and small crystal beads.

The dress is 'Princess line' with a low, round neck, deepening to a 'v' at the back. The skirt is woven in one piece, but is gathered at the back bodice and has a slight train.

It is lined with cream satin and the skirt lining is overlaid with cream chiffon with a double frill embroidered with spangles and crystals, as mentioned.

The bodice is boned and fastens at the back with hooks and eyes. It has a cream grosgrain waist band.
