The stick is made of coarsely painted black wood. There is a groove for a band, now missing, and a hole for a cord through which is now threaded a triple tassel in blue and white. The rondel is silver plated, with a cast scroll and floral decoration. There is no ferrule. The rondel is very heavy and may be filled with iron. The stick and rondel may have been put together in the 19th century for theatrical use.
