Black velour trilby hat with a 1.5 inch wide black grosgrain silk ribbon hat-band. Lined with a cream acrylic material and there is a clear plastic shield in the crown covering the hatters label. The inner headband is of brown leather and has the initials of the donor 'H.P.V.' stamped in gold as well as the hatter's name and address. The paper tag bearing the size of the hat projects above the band.
