Physical description

Woman's evening coat of black silk velvet lined in dark brown musquash fur with a large cape collar of the same. With two wide bands of musquash around the arms at the elbow and the forearm. Full length and semi fitted hanging straight to the knee where curved appliqué self material motifs descend from each side into a curved arrow shape extended into curved bands heading the flared hem. The fur collar is high and deep and can be pulled up to make a hood like frame for the face. The sleeves are long, cut deep at the elbow and narrower at the cuff. The coat fastens at the waist with a loop and self covered button. There is a ribbon tie stitched to the lining which passes through a loop at the coat edge.
