Physical description

Cover of linen, embroidered with coloured floss silks outlined with silver-gilt thread. A broad border of repeating plant devices symmetrically arranged, bearing carnations and other flowers. In each corner are larger devices of similar character. Along the edge is a narrow fringe of silver-gilt strips, and rosettes at regular intervals of coloured floss silks.
