Full length coat of white wool. Straight in front and fitted at the back. The sleeves are wide and gathered, set into the shoulder with a series of horizontal tucks, and the seam is masked by a series of white and gold braid motifs. Similar motifs trim the wide cuffs. A wide lisse frill trims the front opening of the coat and the cuffs. The collar is high, fastens with a gilt lamé ribbon and is trimmed with a frill of machine-made lace. The lining is of white figured silk.
