1-24. flat wooden blocks each covered with paper printed in colours to show a named illustration on one side; the letter represented
in capitals and small print together with a named drawing on the other. The illustrations on one side are not the same as on the other; for example; A a Anchor with a drawing of an anchor and on the other a coloured picture of an ARK. Twenty two (22) letters are on individual blocks with W and X; Y and Z together.

19 to 24 - 1 3/4in x 2in x 3/8in
25. box lid; card covered with green paper printed in colours to show the title, maker's trademark and an illustration of a child with the blocks.
26. box base; card covered with white paper; across the body of the box are 4 white threads designed to hold the blocks in place.
