Physical description

Cotton embroidery in satin stitch, French knots, speckling, trailing, and eyelet holes on muslin, with insertions and trimmings of machine-made lace (Valenciennes style). At each end is a radiating floral device surrounded by wavy and straight stems above a large crescent of openwork. The middle is plain.
