Physical description

Triangular cape of brown satin decorated with ribbon work. It is lined and piped with pale blue silk The neck is stiffened and shaped with thjree tucks. In the centreo of the shawl is a large multi-coloured bunch of flowers, executed in ribbon work with a small amount of coloured silk embroidery in satin stitch and knots, A border of similar flowers is arranged along a wavy stem along the two shorter sides of the triangle. Along the same two sides is a knotted fringe of pale blue, dark and light brown silk.
