Cape of beige-brown silk trimmed with applied pieces of green silk gauze ribbon patterned with brown velvet spots in a border outlined in brown. Waist-length at the back curving down to the hips in the front. There is a pleated frill at the bottom border which is graduated to form an elbow length sleeve. The applied ribbon trims the edges and is arranged in tags and chevrons on the back frill. There is a hanging loop at the neck.

Hand-stitched and the main seams are corded. There is a symmetrical piercing at the front.
