Evening dress of pale blue moiré silk. Low oval neck and short gathered puffed sleeves. The bodice fastens at the centre front where it is trimmed with four white satin ribbon rosettes with clear and white bugle bead centres. White silk tassels hang from the lower rosettes. The skirt is gored and trained, white satin pleated bands headed by rosettes, like those on the bodice, are stitched in a triangular motif on either side of the centre front panel, and around the train to the centre back hem of which are stitched triangular motifs in the dress material. There is an attached waist band of self material piped in white. It has dangling sash ends with a white silk fringe at the bottom. The bodice is lined with white cotton which also faces the hem. There is a blue brush braid.
