Lady's shoe of black silk satin trimmed with braid. It has an oval silver buckle, set with pastes. The pointed tongue is covered by the shoe-straps which are fastened by the buckle, the toe is pointed and the slender heel is of medium height. The buckle is in the shape of a narrow oval band with an inner edging of minute festoons. On the side lining is written in ink: 'Mrs Anderson'.

Physical description
Lady's shoe of black silk satin trimmed with braid. It has an oval silver buckle, set with pastes.
