Blouse of Valenciennes lace. The main part is formed of broad bands of insertion of lace with a pattern of a trailing rose stem, alternating with narrow bands patterned with a wavy line and formal four-petalled flowers. The blouse is short and opens all down the front. The neck and front finishes off with ruffles of muslin and Valenciennes lace with a pattern of formal flowers. Lined with muslin and with a basque of muslin below the waist. At the waist the blouse is gathered onto a ribbon. Double fastening in the front, of muslin furnished with hooks and eyes, and of net fastening with press-studs and decorated with a row of small bobbles. With three-quarter length sleeves extended with net and narrow insertion and ending with a frill of lace and muslin.
