Physical description

Pair of gentleman's shoes made of black patent leather with a grey leather, side buttoning, gaitor top reaching just above the ankle. There is brogue type decoration around the upper and on the toe-cap. The patent leather runs decoratively up the centre of the back of the heel. The toes are fairly pointed and the heels low.
The shoes are lined with canvas and there is a black leather facing to the button hole stand. The inner sock is brown leather and a brown leather binding runs around the top and down the centre back of the heel. Inside the side of the shoe, written in ink (this must, from its potion, have been written before the shoe was closed) is written 'Rothschild'. Inside the opening is written '34859'.
