Cope of woven silk. Of 'tissue' construction with a light tan colour satin ground and with a design of flowers, fruit and foliage in a white taffeta pattern weft and in silver, green, pink and blue silks. The orphrey and hood are in silk with a similar design but with a point repeat, woven with a rose-coloured satin ground, a white pattern weft and an additional weft changed in colour in green, yellow, brown and light and dark blue silks. 1.5 inch gold braid border to the orphrey and hood.
