Pair of ladies' stockings of white cotton. Machine knitted, fully fashioned and handfinished. From foot to mid-calf it is embroidered with a design in cream silk of alternating flower pods and diamonds, with zig zag border. In ink at top is inscribed '3 E.O.M. 1839'.
