Pair of women's stockings of frame-knit scarlet worsted reaching to just above the knee. Each stocking has a white silk knitted gusset at the ankle and clocks of white silk embroidered over the knitting in an abstract floral design. There are three narrow bands of white wool knitted around the top of each stocking, with three holes to indicate the gauge just below them.
