Handbag of black morocco, lined with purple silk. It is in the shape of an envelope, containing a central pocket with a brass metal frame, 4 other pockets, and 2 small ones fastening with press studs, one of which contains an ivory note tablet and brass propelling pencil, and the other a visiting card. There is also a coin purse which is attached by a fine gilt chain. There is a double carrying strap and at the back of the bag is a glove pocket.
