Portion of a linen cloth, with ornaments tapestry-woven in coloured wools and undyed linen thread. Five roundels. That in the centre contains three figures in red (two boys and a woman tying a fillet round her head) amid vine-stems issuing from a vase; running wave- border in purple. The other four roundels each contain the half-length figure of a warrior with shield and lance, within a foliated wreath, in purple, red, green and yellow. In the intervening spaces are two four-petalled red roses.
