Place of origin

A long apron with a multicolored fringe around the lower part. It is decorated in narrow bands of dark green, dark red, black, red, white and orange. Five of the broader bands contain four hooked diamonds brocaded in white cotton and coloured wools (including pink and dark blue). The lowermost broad band is brocaded with red wool and white cotton in an angular "boteh" motif.

It is a weft-faced fabric; the sides have been turned, stitched in place and then a black and white braid has been applied. The upper and lower edge were woven with blue cotton weft and have been turned and stitched in place. Two cords of pink and blue plaited wool have been attached to the top corners for fastening around the waist.
