Kipper tie of printed Indian silk, possibly from a silk square. Design of formalised plants set within a decorative border printed in black, pink and turquoise, and some resist white areas on a vivid turquoise ground. Lined with black nylon and is interlined.

The entire design and the incorporation of a border suggest that a square silk scarf was used.
