Registered File number 1994/1528, Streetstyle exhibition 1994-1995, in the exhibition it was part of an outfit called 'Fashion Casual - Katharine Hamnett UK Spring/Summer 1994' (includes the trousers T.168-1994, the sweatshirt T.169-1994, the hat T.170-1994 and the scarf T.171-1994).


These sandals, which are also colloquially known as "Birkenstocks", accompanied the Fashion Casual ensemble displayed in the V&A's Street Style exhibition, designed by Katharine Hamnett for Spring/Summer 1994.
