Lady's dress of challis (silk and wool), printed in red, light green and black. It has a high waist, two diagonal pleated band across the back, and sleeves very full at the shoulders and close fitting at the wrists. Pattern of broad vertical stripes containing slender detached stems with leaves and flowers, alternately reversed on a dotted ground. The waist band is of cream-coloured satin.

Physical description
Lady's dress of challis (silk and wool), printed in red, light green and black. It has a high waist, two diagonal pleated band across the back, and sleeves very full at the shoulders and close fitting at the wrists. Pattern of broad vertical stripes containing slender detached stems with leaves and flowers, alternately reversed on a dotted ground. The waist band is of cream-coloured satin.
