Physical description | The Virgin stands on the globe, with left foot extended and hands clasped to her breast. The head is tilted slightly and lips parted. Clothed in Child's costume of the 18th century with ruffled cap, sleeves, and neckpiece. Broad, gilded sash at waist. Blue outer skirt parted revealing white inner skirt. Paint in good condition with few minor chips missing on arms. |
