This medal depicts Henri de Montault, who was Marquis de Saint Geniès and Governor of St. Omer and was made by Adriaen Waterloos in Brussels in ca. 1600-1670.

Physical description

Obverse: bust in full face of de Montault, clean shaven. Inscription.
Reverse: a cock crowing at the sun which rises to left behind a hillock. Behind a view of a town, above which in the sky, is a star. Inscription.
