This statue, in painted and gilded oak, represents St. Anne with the Virgin and the Child Christ. In terms of style this statue has parallels with some Virgin and Child groups produced in the Phine-Meuse region after the middle of the 13th century. Some details suggests that this statue is slightly later and that it was probably produced in the last quarter of the century.

Physical description | Figure in oak with remains of colour and gilding. St. Anne is seated on a low throne with a cresting at either side; she holds the Virgin and Child on her left arm, and in her right hand holds an object, the handle only of which remains. Flat at the back and hollowed out. |
