Physical description
Right leg in ivory. The leg which shows the veins and muscles in low relief, has been cut off through the thigh. The toese with the exception of the small one broken off.

Object history
Given by W.A. Propert, 39 Montague Square, London W1 in 1929 (W.A. Propert also ran a commercial gallery, and sold another ivory to the Museum in the same year, now thought to be a fake (V&A-Mus. No. A.7.-1929).
