Horn, ivory, carved with animals and hunting scene, German, ca. 1690-1710
Physical description
The bottom half carved with a hunting scene in low relief of dogs hunting a stag, a man on horseback hunting wiht dogs. The top half is adorned with deer, snakes, dragons and other animals. The mouthpiece is in form of an animal's head.
