This nineteenth century terracotta bust depicts Dante. The bust is modelled in one with its moulded base and foliated console, shows Dante in full face wearing a cap with lappets and a tunic with collar turned out. On an inset composition label at the back of the base is the written inscription 'Gio Bastianini Fece An. 1860.'
