Colin Reid (born 1953) Untitled 1999 Natural materials are integral to Reid's glass, literally so. He takes casts of stone, wood or earth, transforming and interpreting them through the medium of glass. His skill is in allowing the interval veiling to occur, to couple it with the cast and coloured textured surface, and to reveal these depths through perfectly cut and polished angles.
