This medal was struck during the Building of the Great Exhibition of 1851. On the reverse side there is an image of Prince Albert and on the obverse side the Royal Coat of Arms.

On the reverse side, a medallion profile portrait of Prince Albert signed 'J.TAYLOR MEDALLIST, LONDON'. With inscription, 'H.R.H. PRINCE ALBERT. STRUCK IN THE BUILDING OF THE EXHIBITION'. Edge dented and surface slightly scratched.
