Physical description

Large earthenware dish transfer-printed in underglaze blue with a scene of a lake, waterfall and distant buildings. A group of figures are in the foreground depicting Europa and the bull. Border of wild roses, primroses and blossom on a stippled ground shading from dark to lighter blue towards the well of the dish.
