Physical description

Dish of earthenware transfer-printed in underglaze blue with a chinoiserie pattern. On either side of a stretch of water are pagodas. On the right is a man in the doorway of a pagoda, and on the left is a large fence and a man propelling a boat with a pole. Border of Chinese diaper ornament with four large butterflies.
