Object history
Historical significance: Lafon de Camarsac (1821-1905) invented a photographic process in 1854 for printing images onto porcelain. This cup and saucer were part of the group of 'unchangeable photographs on enamel and porcelain' exhibited at the international exhibition, London, 1862
