Cup and saucer of porcelain, painted in enamel colours and decorated with gilding, in imitation of Japanese Imari ware. The cup is cylindrical with loop handle. Both pieces are decorated with two blue panels enriched with gilt scrolls and flowers in red. The remaining surface is painted with flowers in colours and gold on a white ground. Inside the cup, and round the rim of the saucer, is a border of flowers and lozenges in alternate compartments with a blue ground.
