Fabric sample of printed cotton with a pattern of flowering branches in double green, deep yellow, tan, white and red, with an outlining area in blue, that almost covers the red ground. A blue edge at the right shows that the piece was dyed blue with the areas to be white, yellow and red discharged or covered with resist which was, in parts, a mordant for the red.
