Emma Woffenden (born 1962) Breath 1994 Woffenden frequently explores the nature of control and of emotional and physical isolation. Breath suggests a light exhalation. Yet, the drooping, trapped bubble resulting from the puff of air also appears to be fighting to stay inflated inside the compression of the bell jar.
