Amphora of red earthenware, decorated in the 'black figure' technique, with details incised and painted in white slip. On one side is a figure of Dionysus and on the other a Silenus, both accompanied by a Maenad. On either side of the neck are three palmettes connected by curved stems. Under each handle is a large eye in black, with white iris and black eye-brow. Behind the figures are vine branches and below them is a dotted band. The lower part of the body is painted with a row of pointed leaves.
