Object history
Said by the donor to be from a religious tableau, along with C.207-1993 & C.208-1993. The scene was probably a crucification scene in view of the soldiers' armour and the presence of Mary Magdalene (C.209-1993).
In view of the use of aventurine they are perhaps more likely to be Venetian rather than French.
