Corner cistern with cover and basin of tin-glazed earthenware, painted in blue, red and brown, with brass tap. The cistern is quadrant shaped, the radial sides being plain, the bowed front is painted in blue in the middle with a small shield of arms charged with five bars, supported by two lions rampant and surmounted by a coronet with a ribbon inscribed with the motto "DE MIEUX EN MIEUX" The shield is set within a rococo architectural framework. The shaped cover is surmounted by a naked figure of a seated boy, his flesh and hair painted in natural colours, holding a garland of blue flowers. The basin is in the shape of a large shell with alternating wide and narrow flutes.
