A rococo medallion containing a lamdscape scene in green and yellow, supported by a figure of Flora in two shades of yellow with bunch of flowers, at her feet a watering can. Over the field are scattered flowers in bright colours, painted to conceal blemishes in the glaze.

Brief description
Vase of buff earthenware covered with a tin glaze and painted with colours. Probably painted by Fredrich Hess. German (Hochst), c.1750.
Physical description
A rococo medallion containing a lamdscape scene in green and yellow, supported by a figure of Flora in two shades of yellow with bunch of flowers, at her feet a watering can. Over the field are scattered flowers in bright colours, painted to conceal blemishes in the glaze.

Friedrich Hess was the father of Ignaz Hess.
