Candlestick of soft-paste porcelain with modelled and applied decoration, painted with enamels and gilded. Round the nozzle are sprays of growing flowers in applied relief and painted. The middle of the stem is modelled in the form of a dove-cote with a thatched roof and small windows with birds. The dove-cote and lower part of the stem are entwined with a branch with flowers and leaves in applied relief and colours. Round the triangular foot are hens, a cock, chicks, ducks, a sheaf of corn, piles of wood and horse-shoes, all modelled in the round and painted with enamels. The moulding are picked out in gilt.
