Oval medallion of white Jasper ware with blue dip applied white relief cameo scene. The depiction represents a Sacrifice to Concordia (Roman godess of harmony). Two female figures in classical drapery, one kneeling, the other standing, make an offering at a small altar. The clasped hands in relief on the side of the altar and the olive branch held aloft are both symbols of Concordia. The kneeling figure holds a Patera, a bowl for ritual ceremonies, above the flames in her right hand.
