Vase of soft-paste porcelain painted with dark blue and colours. Octagonal and with an elongated inverted pear-shape body expanding at the base. Trumpet-shaped neck. The facets of the body are alternately dark blue and painted in colours on a white ground. Painted with a shepherd boy playing a flute in a plumed hat, mauve cloak and orange-red breeches, and a shepherdess in a flowered dress with a guitar. The remaining two panels are decorated with birds on rowan sprays.
