Hexagonal intaglio of blue Jasper ware, with black slip colouring the incised image depicting Hercules and the Erymanthean boar. The boar leans on bent fore-legs facing to the right and is straddled by a bearded naked Hercules, who also faces right and wields a club above his head about to strike. A young tree to the left of the scene curves inwards. The front of the hexagonal edges are bevelled.
