Figure of a male cook (?), in soft-paste porcelain painted in underglaze blue, enamels and gilded. He is seated on a rock which is covered with applied flowers and leaves. Moulded with slight scrollwork picked out in gold. An oviform jar on his knees. He holds a spoon in his right hand and a knife in his left.

This is from a group of soft-paste porcelain figure models that were subsequently made in hard-paste porcelain at Plymouth, were the male and female cooks C.707, 708-1925 were transformed into figures of musicians. Previously attributed to Longton Hall.
