E40, where blue-and-white versions are dated 1776-90, and Ironbridge Gorge Museum Trust, Caughley in Colour, exhibition catalogue, 2005, cat. 271-72, where it is suggested that the red and blue versions date from the 1770s or early 1780s and that the enamelling was added outside the factory (but not at Chamberlain's works)
