Beaker of porcelain painted in underglaze blue and black enamel, and gilded. Inverted truncated-cone shape. The view of the River Severn is painted in black in a square panel on one side with the title 'WORCESTER' below. At the back is a spray of rosebuds in gold. Round the rim is a formal border in gold on a dark blue band.
